We have felt yet again the terrible hand of nature on humans. The wrath of nature on us. When are we going to learn from the lessons of the past? When are we going to realize that although God has given power to human beings above all creatures yet there is a limit to everything. Not long ago was the Tsunami which claimed hundreds of thousands of lives, the bird flu, the pig or swine flu and now the Haiti catastrophe.

The Haitians Need Us Now Than Ever!

What bugs me most is the fact that the hardest hit are the helpless. Those who have no means to even raise a finger to help themselves. The Haitians have been living under hardship for OVER 200 YEARS! The world up til now has been watching.

The French, the Americans and other developed world countries have to see this as an obligation. After all, they are to blame for a loooooot of setbacks that has plagued Haiti for the past hundreds of years. France taking the lead. America was known for taking sides with dictators at the expense of those poor nations from Africa to Asia. Papa Doc was their man, his son baby Doc was theirs too and who knows how many more. Has it ever happened in history that a dictator did anything good for his people? If anybody has an idea please let me know because I can not recollect that at a certain time in history, a dictator did the right thing for his people.

Let us stop pointing accusing fingers and get to business. The Haitian people need us now than ever. Let us at least make for the wrong doings of the past. A little donation may make a very big difference in someone’s life.

The Adage About The Palace
I once heard a very educative saying. “The fire that consumed the palace only makes it more greater and more beautiful”. I didn’t get this at first but then I realized the meaning. When a palace burns down it must be rebuilt. Then the new palace is always bigger and more beautiful than the previous.

Who knows, this may be a blessing out of mystery for Haiti. If we all join hands together we can lift Haiti up from the ashes and bring it back to the world map. Not as the old Haiti but the New And More Beautiful Haiti.
